PARKINSON BACK FOR BRAVE BLOSSOMS
Reuben Parkinson is a shock recall to the Japan 27-man squad to tour South America this month. The former Highlanders centre is one of five foreigners in the party. He will be joined in the squad by former New Zealand Maori Hare Makiri, Australian-born lock Jamie Washington, and Tongans Katoni Otukolo and Christian Loamanu.

At 18, Loamanu, a third-year student at Shochi Fukaya High School will become the youngest player to have ever played for Japan if he faces either Uruguay this Saturday or Argentina, a week later.

In May, Japan plays World Cup qualifying games against Hong Kong and South Korea, before they host the USA, Canada and Romania in the Super Cup (previously the Super Powers Cup) at the end of the month. In June, Japan play two tests against Ireland.

In addition, a Japan 'squad' will play two games against the visiting New Zealand Universities side on April 24 and 27, before the 'Scarfies' take on Japan Universities on May 1 in Tokyo.

ざっくりとした内容としては、第一パラグラフは、パーキンソン選手がジャパンにジャパンに招集されたという話。他には、 ハレ・マキリ選手、 ジェミー・ワシントン選手、カトニ・オツコロ選手、クリスチャン・ロアマヌ選手が選ばれていることが記載されています。
第二パラグラフでは、ロアマヌ選手がテスマッチに出た場合、ジャパンの最年少出場記録になる、という話。そして第三、第四パラグラフでは、今後のジャパンの予定として、ワールドカップ予選として香港、韓国との試合、スーパーカップのホストこくとなること、ニュージーランド学生代表との試合のことなどが書かれています。
雑誌記事の方はもう少しくわしく書かれています。
まず、パーキンソン選手の招集については、上記メールマガジンでは、パーキンソン選手が５人の外国人選手のひとりとしか書かれていませんが、雑誌記事では、

The former Highlanders centre, who has just been released by the Fukuoka Sanix Bombs, is one of five foreigners in the party as the Japanese look to put last November's disastrous tour of Europe behind them.

と、「悲惨な（disastrous）11月のヨーロッパツアーを忘れさせてくれる(put behind）ことを期待して（look to）」招集されたと評しています。
あと、雑誌には日本人選手についても書かれていました。

Also included in the squad are veteran backrow forwards Takeomi Ito and Yasunori Watanabe, while speedsters Daisuke Ohata and Hirotoki Onozawa have recovered from injury.

と、フォワードでは「ベテラン」として伊藤選手と渡辺選手、そして「スピードランナー（speedsters）」として大畑選手、小野澤選手の名前があげられていました。
