UK Summer music festivals

UK Summer music festivals (BBC WORLD SERVICE / Learning English)

When I read this article, I was surprised. First, I've never know that what a huge summer music festival is held in UK. Hundred and fifty thousand people! I think it's a kind of the biggest music festival in the world. Second, the admission fee is very expensive. 112 UK ponds pounds! I understand the price is three-day fee, but the cost is about 40 UK pounds per a day. 40 UK pounds is about 8,000 yen! Maybe I cannot buy the ticket.

By the way, Japan has a big summer music festival called "Fuji Rock Festival." How about New Zealand? In Christchurch, we have a music festival named "Christmas in the Park" in November. Is it a summer music festival? Yes. November is summer because New Zealand is in the Southern hemisphere!
